- ½ cup Water
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp Clove
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
Option 2 For the Filling: Date Paste
- 1 cup Date paste 250g of date paste in the cup
- ¼ cup Water
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ tsp Nutmeg
- ¼ tsp Clove
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Unsalted butter
For Garnish:
- Powdered sugar (optional)
